Vivienne Westwood.
I think Vivienne Westwood would be a perfect for my magazine.
I thought about having her designs also portraits in a weird and wonderful layout also typing an article about her and the fashion industry as it was for her.

I also thought about having another famous designer, model plus photographer but i didn't wont to keep it update but a designer, model or photographer that has been going for a long period of times that has been successful in the fashion industry.

but i did think about these;

I really like this kind of photography, i think its stylish also the use of buildings within the photographs work well to express the clothing.

TOPOSHOP 2.1.4 magazine

I looked at a range of stylish magazines but the TOPSHOP 2.1.4. magazine stood out the most with there wild layouts which works with the style of the clothing.
TOPSHOP is well known for there wild and weird styles, but also at a reasonable price.

I think these layouts work well to show off the styles of clothing thought out also using photography in a different way i have never seen, i think the photographs are powerful plus used in a stylish layout.
I think it add class to the magazine also how this magazine has been printed, the paper quality is thicker than normal magazine paper also the printing quality is high by using full CMYK for a great looking magazine.
   

IDEAS towards studio layouts and models

I think the style of the clothing works well with the models personality, I like how the model is posing with creativity. The lighting focuses on the model and the clothing.
Within my designs I won't to create a similar style of lighting and clothing range from this i shall be thinking about studio layouts, in where lights will be set and where model will be placed.

I like the style of the photograph being placed in a frames, then relating clothing to the images.
I think this type of layout would work well within my magazine.

 I really like the style of this website taking the 70's look on, same with the style of clothing.

Introduction

Fashion Magazine.
 Taking good quality clothing but finding it in a cheaper market that’s affordable to students etc. I shall be looking at fashion icons and fashion photographers and I may look into relating this fashion magazine to New College Stamford. 
I will focus on students from NCS and photograph them and ask them their opinion to fashion.
I will produce a front cover and range of double page spreads including text articles and images.
I am looking on fashion as it is creative and I am interested in the subject matter.


Mainly my influences are from newspapers like the ‘style’ and ‘you’ which you get within the Sunday times ‘VOGUE’ has taken a powerful part in my choice of my ideas for this project, plus ‘Oh Comely’ and ‘Love’ magazines which look at different ranges of clothing in different shops and all on the high-street. I wanted to put a different edge on fashion because you don’t need to spend a lot of money on clothes to be in fashion, I won’t to put that idea across to others, you just need to shop around.
I will be looking at a range of different fashion styles/ designs. Also I shall be looking at Fashion Shows in the area, with then will include texts, brochures, websites etc, which then will include a bibliography.


In this project I would be using InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop, I intend to display my layouts of my magazine in InDesign and work thought out on my final magazine design.
I will be starting by researching my target audience and market research within fashion, I shall be using books, Internet and magazines plus any other media I come across.
Coming up with ideas for layout’s that are stylish and unique, my layout’s will contain colour and I will be adding my own photography within my layout’s with digital and film photography.
For all the photography I shall be using the photography studio at New College Stamford or Dean.st. photography studio.
I may look at using paper flowers by flowers in scanning them in and then placing them in the magazine layout.
Thought out I will be exploring new ways in making my ideas better and looking at them from another angle.



My Project Timescale.


I will put my magazine to the test in asking the public or other students around the College if they would buy the magazine if it was within the College or outer College, I like them too have a quick read of the magazine to see if there kind of fashion magazine, that’s affordable to them and the public.


Ask if there’s problems or is the magazine successful but how could I develop the magazine in any way?(I shall take notes).


At the end before hand in I shall evaluate my work, analyse my ongoing project if my magazine is successful or a failure.
